- Concordia Seminary, St. Louis Food Bank — $5,000. PAID
The Concordia Seminary, St. Louis Food Bank makes seminary preparation more affordable by providing healthy food and personal care items at no cost to seminarians and their families.
- Peace Lutheran Church and Educational Ministries — $5,000. PAID
To help finish rooms to make them classrooms, as well as add another playground for the school.
- LCMS Mission Central Current & Urgent Grant — $4,000. PAID
To fund missionaries who are in the field or who have been called by the LCMS. At the current time, Mission Central is seeking prayers and funding for 11 of the newest missionaries and is also promoting three projects: Vietnam Food, Medical Van, and Leipzig. Both of these categories are always growing and changing.
- Mercy Medical Team – Chaplain Scholarships — $3,000. PAID
LCMS Mercy Medical teams bring urgently needed medical and spiritual care to countries around the world. Each Chaplain offers prayer and pastoral counseling to the patients and medical clients along with providing encouragement and Christian support and fellowship to our brothers and sisters in the partner church(es). This grant will aid in the expenses for a Chaplain to participate in a mission trip with the Mercy Medical Team.
- Gospel Hands – VBS for Deaf Children — $4,500. PAID
To help fund the Gospel Hands Vacation Bible School, allowing Lutheran Friends of the Deaf to partner with local congregations to provide Vacation Bible Schools for Children who are Deaf so that they may learn God’s Word.
- Little Lambs Lutheran Preschool, Sturgis — $5,000. PAID
The board of Little Lambs seeks financial help to continue the mission work begun in Little Lambs Preschool.
- The Confessional Lutheran Education Foundation E-Reader Project — $5,000. PAID
The Istanbul Lutheran Church has asked Lutheran Heritage Foundation to translate and publish The Lutheran Study Bible commentary notes, testimonies by Turkish Lutherans, and portions of The Book of Concord.
- POBLO International — $5,000. PAID
Funds will be used to train churches in South Dakota for cross cultural outreach. Trainers from POBLO International will travel to South Dakota to conduct cross cultural training workshops, and spend time with South Dakota LCMS congregations, helping them to learn and explore how they can begin effective cross-cultural outreach.
- Witness & Outreach Ministry/Revitalization Office of National Mission (re:Vitality)
— $2,500. PAID
re-Vitality is a comprehensive revitalization program being developed to assist congregations to either begin, revitalize, or expand their outreach ministry to help them to reach the lost – a mission we share with Jesus, who came to seek and save people who are lost (Luke 19:10). re-Vitality is a comprehensive revitalization program comprised of self-assessment, action-oriented training, and outreach-integrated witnessing modules, training events, and workbooks.
- Shepherd’s Canyon Retreat — $3,500 PAID
Participant scholarships for ‘in crisis’ professional church workers to attend healing retreats. This grant would cover a scholarship for one (1) couple.
- Stronger Pastors for Southeast Asia with the Book of Concord — $4,000 PAID
(partially funded)This grant will be used to translate and publish the Book of Concord in the native languages of Southeast Asia.
